allergic reactions
The U.S. Cannes Young Lions competition brought together over 440 teams from all over the U.S. who competed across digital, film, media, print, and PR categories. Of the 100+ that entered digital, my partner and I competed as top 5 finalists in front of a panel of judges, and then placed 3rd in the competition.
Problem: 220 million people around the world suffer from food allergies. Millennials without allergies don’t care.
Ask: Get millennials who don’t have allergies to care about and donate to Ending Allergies Together (E.A.T).
Insight: While allergy-free millennials can’t relate to reacting to food, they can relate to reacting to photos.
Idea: Give Facebook Reactions actual allergic reactions. The only way to cure them is to donate.

Not that you asked for this, but here are the finalists. Just wanted to point out that the Young Lions submissions were completely anonymous. Regardless of how the competition played out, I see the volume of women in this photograph as a win.
